Product Strategy

CHALLENGE

Our client knew there was market space for reaching executives, managers, and even people earlier in their career interested in learning in the flow of work. They were looking to understand how their readers, customers, and prospects approached learning and management learning

WHAT WE DID

I facilitated recruiting and led conversations with 30 individuals in various management and leadership positions and levels, across 4 global markets, to dive into their psyche, detect barriers to reaching their needs, and define “learning in the flow of work.” Beyond these conversations, I mentored a junior researcher in consulting and research practices and led research synthesis.

OUTCOME

Our conversations informed development of leader personas whose learning in the flow of work habits we mapped within a version of the 5E experience model. In a final stakeholder workshop, after giving a research readout and time to absorb the experience map and persona profiles up close, I facilitated several ideation sessions to down-select opportunities and align on three distinct value propositions for further exploration.

The client is currently testing to understand desirability and willingness to pay in its target audiences.
